While side effects are rare, they can include mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. These effects usually resolve quickly.

 During the procedure, an incision is made along the natural folds of the eyelids. Excess skin and fat are then removed, and the incisions are carefully closed. This technique helps to smooth and tighten the eyelid area.

A typical eyelid surgery procedure takes about 1 to 3 hours, depending on whether the upper or lower lids, or both, are being treated. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. 

Recovery from eyelid surgery typically involves some swelling and bruising, which generally subsides within 1 to 2 weeks. Most patients can return to normal activities within 1 to 2 weeks, though full recovery may take several months. 

Like any surgical procedure, eyelid surgery carries some risks, including infection, scarring, and temporary dry eyes. However, these risks are minimized with proper care and follow-up.
